CDC say vaccinations important for flu prevention

As flu season approaches, CDC officials are emphasizing the importance of the flu vaccine, especially considering the severity of the 2017-2018 flue season.

The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Dr. Robert Redfield said an estimated 80,000 Americans died of the flu and its complications last winter.

The total is reportedly the disease's highest death toll in at least four decades.
